A smoky, cheesy twist on classic pizza dip! Cream cheese, seasoned sausage, pizza sauce, mozzarella, and mini pepperonis are layered together and slow-smoked until hot, bubbly, and ridiculously scoopable.

Equipment

  • 1 Foil Pan
  • 1 Smoker (I love my Pit Boss Navigator Smoker!)
  • 1 Serving spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 Blocks Cream cheese
  • 1 lb Ground sausage Cooked, drained, and seasoned
  • 1 Jar Pizza sauce Pick your favorite
  • 2 Cups Shredded mozzarella
  • 1 Bag Mini pepperonis
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  • Layer cream cheese, cooked sausage, pizza sauce, mozzarella, and mini pepperonis in an aluminum pan.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Place on smoker at 225°F for 2 hours.
  • Give it a good mix halfway through.
  • Serve with garlic bread or breadsticks.
