Equipment
- 1 Smoker I always use my Pit Boss smoker!
- 1 Knife
- 1 Aluminum Pan
- 1 Thermometer
- Aluminum foil
Ingredients
- 2 Slabs Bone-in ribs
- Yellow mustard
- Pork seasoning rub
- 1 Stick Butter sliced
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 cups Barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat smoker to 225°F.
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Cut ribs into individual pieces.
- Place ribs in an aluminum pan and coat them with yellow mustard.
- Sprinkle generously with pork seasoning rub.
- Arrange ribs on the top grate of the smoker.
- Smoke until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove ribs and place them back into the aluminum pan.
- Add sliced butter, then sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the ribs.
- Pour barbecue sauce over the top and cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
- Return to the smoker and cook until ribs reach an internal temperature of 195°F.
- Remove and uncover. Serve and enjoy.
